As well as Historic Stirling this idyllic accommodation on the River Forth has 4 fishing permits* for Salmon and Sea Trout on the River Forth and on two stretches of the River Teith at Callander. The Forth has been the most productive beat in Scotland for 2010 producing 1351 Salmon and Grilse.

The local fisheries officer has described both as "hidden gems". The Forth and Teith allow fly fishing, spinning and bait fishing, and there are excellent facilities. The Stirling Fishery Service was the first in the UK to promote salmon conservation by issuing tags to anglers to limit the number of salmon that can be taken while still providing a full season of fishing. Last year anglers caught over 800 slamon on the Council's fisheries, with almost 60% being returned safely to the water.
Further outdoor activities are locally available such as mountain climbing, golf and walking beside some of the most wonderful scenery.
Located beside excellent motorway links, we are accessible to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and the North of Scotland.
